Streaming Audio Application for a Media Company (J2ME, Qt, and Symbian) Job Description: Contractor/Team, must be willing and able to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) upon commencement of work, and must strictly adhere to said NDA through out the development process. andnbsp; andnbsp; We will provide you with comprehensive Specifications/Requirements Documentation, including detailed wireframes, app flows, and creative assets in order to expedite the development of the application; the documents will be provided with delivery signed NDA. Objectives: 1) Develop a streaming audio application that connects through API's to acquire content for the application from an online-based Content Management System (CMS is live and deployed) 2) Integrate provided advertising logic and advertising networks into the application using an API and/or J2ME functionality (TBD) 3) Integrate a media player into the application for a consistent consumer experience and full-spectrum device compatibility; regardless of the device-type or operating system version. 4) Integration of analytics and/or event loggingTime-Frame: Our project must be fully completed within 4-6 weeks from start to finish of a version 1.0 build. andnbsp; andnbsp; Additional incentives will be provided toward that end, with bonuses for quality work done in a timely manner (details below). Incentives: We will provide milestone and quality bonuses, payable after project completion if or when specific mutually agreed project goals are met within specific time constraints. andnbsp; andnbsp; The completion of this project, to our satisfaction, will likely result in a recurring revenue stream for you or your team (in the form of maintenance contracts, and Phase 2 and 3 builds). We are only looking for the best, and will incentivize as such. Communication: The developer/development team must be willing and able to communicate fluently in English on a DAILY basis over the phone or Skype voice, through e-mail, and via instant messaging (Skype, gChat). andnbsp; andnbsp; The developer(s) will report to our Project Manager, who will coordinate communications as well as guide the development process as a whole. andnbsp; andnbsp; There will be a conference call once a day for progress updates as well as general development. andnbsp; andnbsp; The developer/development team must be available on messaging clients while working, and are encouraged to communicate with the project manager regularly through out the day. andnbsp; andnbsp; Basic Features and Functionality: 1) The ability to stream audio, retrieved through use of provided APIs. 2) In-application Audio Player with any necessary codecs3) Advertising logic, server, and/or network integration4) Professional Looking application, that must adhere to our Requirements/Specifications documentation. Requirements: 1) Native development is required (no third party frameworks). 2) Logos and other Design Assets will be provided. 3) Content APIs will be provided, accompanied by documentation on use (s). 4) Support for the Application is required for: andbull; Qt 4.6 or higher for S60 3. x andbull; Qt 4.7 or higher for S60 5. x andbull; Qt 4.7 or higher for Symbian^ andbull; J2ME for Series 40Background Requirements: You and/or your team, must have a proven track record in the development of such an application. andnbsp; andnbsp; In order for an applicant to be considered for this project, he/she/they must provide us with an application(s) developed for/in J2ME, Java, Qt, and Symbian of both a professional caliber as well as a high level of complexity (streaming audio applications are preferable but not required). andnbsp; andnbsp; In addition, all applicants must be available to speak with us by phone or Skype voice -- no applicant will be accepted until this requirement is met.
