SHORT TERM ASSIGNMENT leading to LONG TERM ASSIGNMENTThis is a small project which can lead to an offer for a much larger, 12 months project when you have proven yourself (see the other Job Posting we have - do not apply to that one yet) I operate a small software development house based out of Bangkok, Thailand for the past 8 years, dealing mainly with Canadian and Australian Clients. We are now looking for 2 developers to assist with some maintenance work for bugs and small issues on an hourly basis over the next 4-8 weeks. Developers will need to communicate from time to time to help each other. The project is a Management Information System for a direct-sales Jewellery company out of Canada, its a custom system to handle Client Lists, book Shows, send Newsletters such as show Invitations and Thank you's, track appointment in a Diary (like Google Calender), bulk SMS sending, runs in French and English. Its running SQL Server 2008 rather than MySQL. Its now in its first months of use, so keeping users happy is critical. Its quite stable but we have fallen behind with issue fixing and need urgent help. Interested parties will need to have strong PHP v5/OO, Codeignitor, JQuery, AJAX, and some basic SQL Server. SubVersion and JIRA also very helpful, as is Linux also for occasional Server VPS issues. As this is an short-term urgent requirement, its CRITICAL that you can be productive immediately, so you will need to be 100% familiar/current with all the skills listed, no exceptions. As we have current Developers working on this project we know how long work should take, and will be very carefully monitoring this. The KEY attribute needed is TRUST and RELIABILITY, as this is a LIVE site with hundred of users, and you will need to access their TEST Server directly via our Server, so you will need 2 access logins. The KEY skills are CodeIgnitor and JQuery, as well as some SQL Server (MySQL is not enough, there are too manyandnbsp; andnbsp; differences). Install and configure ARI colorbox (http://www. ari-soft. com/Joomla-Components/ARI-Colorbox/Detailed-product-flyer. html) andnbsp; andnbsp; as the Image gallery, plugin for all pages and photo album. Note there are about 115 pictures to be part of this gallery extension. 17. All images on every article page should show about half the size that they do now on the original site, though as a very large andlsquo; Thumbnailandrsquo; andnbsp; andnbsp; then once clicked they should pop up shadow box, with previous and forward arrows, showing all images on that article page with the previous and forward arrow. ARI colorbox has a resize function to create the thumbnail. 18. When copying images to insert on respective page, most images have a title, or description, that title or description needs to be the same/configured to show on that image in the ARI colorbox gallery, a function of ARI Colorbox. 19. Link top menu Photo Album to article page layout (andlsquo; portfolioandrsquo; page from demo), set up each section (9 show on demo) without link to an article page, but with their own heading, with one thumbnail/image showing, but when they click on that image, shadow box will appear, with previous and forward arrows, showing all images of that type with the previous and forward arrow. 20. Install andlsquo; perfect webandrsquo; (also need to install MooTools) pop up contact form fromandnbsp; andnbsp; http://www. perfect-web. pl/joomla-extensions/module-ajax-popup-contact-form< / a>andnbsp; andnbsp;, configure with about 15 fields, and make sure shows on all pages. 21. Install and configure JoomSEF (http://www. artio. net/joomla-extensions/joomsef), and make sure the entire website has SEF URLandrsquo; s. 22. Link two buttonsandnbsp; andnbsp; that when clicked a PDF would open/download. 23. Site must be W3C compliant for both CSS and XTHML 1.0 according to w3c. org. So, it must PASS both those tests, XHTML 1.0 at http://validator. w3. org / < / a> and CC at http://jigsaw. w3. org/css-validator / < / a>24. The site needs to load quickly, so page optimization techniques must be used and applied like image/text compression, gzip, remove white space form css, Joomla admin settings, install plugins, and so on to assure that pages (especially home page) do not take longer than 5.5 seconds to load using DSL. That speed test of max 5.5 seconds is using www. webpagetest. org< / a> as source for speed analysis. Using the settings DSL, IE 8 as the test standard. 25. Copy entire site, make sure joomla admin set up, install on subdomain in cpanel. 26. Need to show without problems or errors in IE 7,8, 9, Firefox, Chrome and Safari.

Socialengine custom question type

I need to have added to Socialengine 4 a new question type: It would look like a single-line text field, but would behave like a " tag " entry... as the user types in the field, an ajax drop down shows up with matching words other users typed into that field before. This user can either pick one of the previously entered ones, or create a new one by ignoring the popup. Then the content of these fields can be treated as tags (for each field separately) in site searches, matches, related items and so on. For example, two profile fields are added to the profile: " interests " and " pets ". Both are set as new " tags " question types. First user types in " tennis " and " dogs, cats ". The next user starts typing in " interests " and a pop up shows " tennis ". When the user starts to type in " pets " a pop up shows " cats " and " dogs ". When looking at member's profile, a widget shows other members who have " tennis " or " cats " or " dogs "... and so on. and so on.
