Bookkeeper with Paypal & eBay experience
This should be a straightforward task for a person who knows what he or she is doing. I have a business that relies heavily on Paypal and eBay, also soon to be Amazon. andnbsp; andnbsp; We sell real products and need a person who understands the accounting/reports sides of these websites to help us with the monthly income and expenses statements. I have created a video for you to watch: http://www. youtube. com/watch? v=AiXm2Js_G2s< / a>Please do not apply if you have not watched the video. andnbsp; andnbsp; Please address these statements in your initial application. andnbsp; andnbsp; Applicants who fail to respond to these statements will NOT be considered. 1- I need to know how many businesses you have worked with that involve (d) Paypal accounts. 2- I need you to tell me what the name of the business is that I mention in the video. 3- I want to know what kind of information you need from me every week to help you do your job. 4- Please tell me how long you think this job will take you, in hours, per month. At the end of each month, I require that you email me an excel spreadsheet with gross income and expenses and net profit. There are some nuances with this business that may be a bit challenging, but if you are an excellent bookkeeper, this should not be an issue. I look forward to your application.

Smart Bookkeeper to rock QuickBooks Hosted
Wow! Our group of online businesses is growing so fast! But we are being held back by the task of keeping up with the necessary bookkeeping... Until now! Last night while lying in bed, the CEO (that's me) had a brilliant insight! Instead of opening up the clunky old version of Quickbooks installed on his PC, he would buy a subscription to the Australian version QuickBooks Hosted from here: http://online. reckon. com. au/Products/QuickBooksHosted. aspx< / a> and employ the help of a smart bookkeeper on oDesk who was experienced with QuickBooks (and hopefully with QuickBooks Hosted) and together they could come up with a streamlined system for taking care of the company books online, ready to deliver to our (totally amazed) tax accountant in Australia every year. Here 'show it would work: - The bookkeeper would first transfer the existing data for the previous financial year (several months worth) from the QuickBooks file the CEO has, to the shiny new QuickBooks Hosted account. This would help give the bookkeeper a good idea of the business and what sort of revenue and expenses needed to be dealt with. - The CEO would guide the bookkeeper during this process so that nothing was missed. It would be EASY because they could both look at the books online and see the same information no matter how far apart they were. Cool! - Then, every day, the CEO would email invoices and receipts to the bookkeeper for entry into QuickBooks Hosted. This would be SO much better than letting them stack up in a box for a big once-a-year bookkeeping event, which everyone was too busy helping customers to make happen... - Because payments into and out of the company occur on a daily basis, entering them into QuickBooks Hosted on a daily basis would mean that everything would be up to date, and the CEO wouldn't be looking at receipts from months ago and trying to remember what they were for (which he does now...) The bookkeeper could send an email or Skype text and ask " Hey, what was this one for? " and the CEO would easily recall exactly what it was for. - This cool, up-to-date system would also mean that we could observe trends, in terms of both opportunities and risks, right away, instead of months after they had come and gone. Imagine that! So, if you are the smart bookkeeper in this story, if you have solid experience with QuickBooks (or better still, with QuickBooks Hosted), and if you want to join an awesome startup that is really starting to take flight (we currently have 13 oDesk superstars under contract!) and make a genuine difference in that company, then join us today! P. S. Boring and burned out accountant-types need not applyandnbsp; andnbsp;:)
