We are seeking a customer service professional to complement our internal support team for a medical device for people living with diabetes. The ideal candidate has excellent telephone demeanor and writing skills, as the role involves both phone and written communications. Ability to speak Spanish is a large plus. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in both inbound and outbound telephone marketing or support, and has knowledge or interest in the healthcare field, particularly the details of living with diabetes. The role involves standing by for customer calls from 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, in the United States Eastern Standard Time (GMT -5), Monday through Friday. We will discuss the appropriate compensation, as the call volume will be relatively low at the beginning. You must have the latest version of Skype, as well as an excellent broadatabaseand connection. We may request that you install other software packages in the future in order to better support our customers. You *must* be willing and able to perform a self-test of blood glucose, which involves a small pinch on your finger to draw blood for testing, as this is exactly the procedure diabetes patients experience every day. This is not something you do often, but your must know exactly what it is! We will provide the training and equipment to ensure success. Our business provides a wide selection of beauty services including hair, body, facials, makeup, nails as well as beauty retail. We are looking for a person located in North America with a natural American accent and we will require voice samples. You must have a designated home office with high speed internet. You should be able to work undisturbed with absolutely no unprofessional background noises. We will also consider bids from companies since we may need several agents depending on call volume generated from our TV ad campaigns. Job Summary: You will be responsible for answering inbound calls. Answers inquiries and provides information to customers on a variety of subjects. Resolves customer issues within agreed upon scope. Your responsibilities: - Answers inbound phone lines within prescribed time limits, and in accordance with company policy and procedure. - Demonstrates the highest level of courtesy and respect to all callers. - Answers questions related to company services, times of operation, prices, and so on. - Directs callers to specific departments as necessary and when unable to answer questions presented by customer. - Resolves customer issues when presented, taking care to maintain respect and courtesy. - Diffuses angry customers by listening and attempting to resolve the issue at hand. In cases where resolution does not appear imminent, forwards call to supervisor for resolution. - Follows up with customers when required by the nature of the call, and ensures the situation is resolved to the customer's satisfaction. - Books appointments for services, taking care to repeat information given back to caller in order to ensure accuracy of the booking. - May call customers to verify bookings and provide reminders to ensure appointments are kept. Your qualifications: - Knowledge of salon and spa services, including any industry specific terminology for services provided. - Pleasant speaking voice, articulate, demonstrating good grammar and syntax. - Good listening skills and the ability to ask good questions in order to identify the needs of the customer. - Ability to sit for long periods of time. - Attention to detail, especially when taking bookings for services. - Ability to type accurately at a speed of 35 wpm- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. - Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with a client or potential client over the telephone.
