i need a person who can provide tech support on an ongoing basis for my hosting service. you will receive email notifications when issues arise wiith the server or with customers using the server and will need to respond to them and fix them. this is part time work and very regular. you will need to be available on a daily basis. i would prefer a company to apply rather than an individual

I recently purchased a Rackspace Cloud Hosting account. I need a person to set up a LAMP server that includes a back-end interface similar to cPanel to manage my website, but free and open source. Also need phpMyAdmin. Not sure yet what software to use, so I 'll be discussing it with the applicants who make it to the interview stage. This is a one-time job-- only set up is required. Maintenance is not required at the moment, but may be in the near-future. If that be the case, I 'll most likely return to the person who set it up in the beginning for more work.

Setup a running enviroment for an ISpassworde want to launch a new root server with some virtual servers but with just one IP address. Actually we tested a solution based on VMWare but it doesn't fit our requirements as we need to setup a complicated bind9 method. Host System is actually Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. So you can apply on two different things: a) Build a internal DNS structure using free tools such as webmin, virtualman and so on. It has to be extendable. For test cases we have one virtual server with Ubuntu over vmware running. b) Build something completly new using a fresh installation of CentOS 5, Debian 5, Ubuntu (8.04 or 10.04) or OpenSuse 11. We need a configuration for at least 3 vservers with management infrastructure. - Each vserver should have his own linux operating system (ubuntu). - Each vserver will use the same ip addresses and ports, so you need to decide which one to use by domain name. We are glad about some applications of good candidates with excellent server administration skills!

We are opening up an offshore web and software development center in Delhi and need some help in networking and setting up the office. We need a person in the Delhi region for a contract who can do the following- Recommend us the hardware required to setup a web development centre offering web and E-commerce solutions using LAMP development technologies. - Install and deploy all the required software and hardware installation on the server as well as the desktop machines - Add virtualization software VMware to separate the hardware int o multiple machines for development and UAT and Install source safe called JIT- We would be using Drupal and Joomla so you should have experience with that as well. - monitoring/profiling and systems managementPLEASE RECOMMEND THE HARDWARE WE WOULD REQUIRE TO GET THIS SETUP DONE. Initially we will have only 4- 5 employees but we are planning to expand to about 15 -20 employees by this year end. Initially this will be a part time position or a contract position. If you do a great job, you can be hired permanently. We need a person in the 2nd week of August to come and setup the server and related connectivity. I have a VPS (LAMP) which has been exploited a couple of times via joomla (apparently). I need a person who can help lock down my server to avoid this and other security issues in the future. I am currently running CSF (firewall) and have mod_security installed but not configured. I also have a new joomla anti-hacking component installed but not configured. Require Courier SMTP server setup and configured. Following requirements: -Custom domain greeting on each local virtual interface (must accept unlimited virtual interfaces) -Accept all incoming emails for any user/domain (no domain or user list files lookups) -All emails stored locally on file system ( / home/vmail / $domain$ / $user$ / Maildir-No relaying our outgoing emails-Accept emails from local services (root@localhost and so on) -All unused modules in Courier disabled. Existing mail server and new DNS configuration on two Windows 2003 Servers with 34 IP addresses and several domains via remote connection. We have tended to use 5 IPs per mailing domain. POP and SMTP configuration in client mailing software. ONLY candidates who have experience managing Windows DNS, SMTP and POP servers should apply, please. You will need to be fast, accurate and a native English speaker able to work between 9 AM and 11 PM Los Angeles time. You will do the work via remote connection while I watch, and need to talk by telephone with me at the same time you work. For a person who's quick and accurate with DNS, SMTP and POP this will be an excellent introduction to working with us and shouldn't take more than three hours actual work per server. Our company's customers will receive e-mails beginning this Saturday, 7/31, in support of a national athlete's charity fund raising programs. Thanks for your time.

Install a PHPbb installation, including set-up of an existing Apache HTTP Server with ModPHP and setting up a vhost configuration file. Installation of a custom theme for PHPbb, and setup of MySQL as the backing database. Modify some existing Ruby sys-admin scripts to provide automated backup of the database.

Need you to train our representative on how to add new subdomains. Need you to walk us through our new server setup and provide a one hour question and answer session.
