Joomla site set up
Project is to build a joomla 1.5x website. 1. Set up joomla 1.5x in cpanel2. Any third party extensions, plugins, or modules that are needed will either be free, or I will pay for them. 3. Download template to joomla admin. Then follow instructions provided to configure the template to show exactly like demo: http://livedemo00. template-help. com/joomla_34813 / < / a> Template will be: http://www. templatemonster. com/joomla-templates/34813. html< / a>4. Make sure all modules are set up, and article pages are linked and configured to show EXACTLY like demo. 5. Install and configure ARI Image slider, (http://www. ari-soft. com/vmchk/Joomla-Components/ARI-Image-Slider/Detailed-product-flyer. html) andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; as slide show in header, configure 10 picture images, put text same as system font/demo on one the first image, make sure that the images are compressed, gzipped, and so on. 6. I will give you a logo and you will need to insert it into the header and make sure itandrsquo; s as clear background. 7. I will give you a Favicon to install and make sure it is showing in IE 7,8, 9, Firefox, Chrome and Safari. 8. All content (images and text) for the website will be copied manually from http://www. wildernesscanoecampground. com / < / a>, there will be no access to website files. You will need to make sure you remove/strip all code before dropping into Joomla. There are about 30 pages to copy/create and about 115 pictures. 9. Install andlsquo; Add thisandrsquo; (http://www. addthis. com /? utm_source=hmandutm_medium=imgandutm_content=AT_main_WTandutm_campaign=AT_main) to the left of Search box in User 1 area. 10. Change text in the four banner modules (User 3 area) as well as insert image logos to replace the ones in the demo. Link banners to their respective article pages that you create/copy from original site. 11. Need to do complete article page set up and link of the 5 tops menus and submenus to their respective article pages that you create/copy from original site. 12. In module of Left section, top section, change text and link to andlsquo; perfect webandrsquo; contact form13. Need to do complete article page set up and link for the three article text intros in Left modules. Including their respective article pages that you create/copy from original site. 14. Set up main body home page from its respective article page that you create/copy from original site. 15. Set up 12 articles pages linked to Service module in Right, from their respective article pages that you create/copy from original site. 16. Install and configure ARI colorbox (http://www. ari-soft. com/Joomla-Components/ARI-Colorbox/Detailed-product-flyer. html) andnbsp; andnbsp; as the Image gallery, plugin for all pages and photo album. Note there are about 115 pictures to be part of this gallery extension. 17. All images on every article page should show about half the size that they do now on the original site, though as a very large andlsquo; Thumbnailandrsquo; andnbsp; andnbsp; then once clicked they should pop up shadow box, with previous and forward arrows, showing all images on that article page with the previous and forward arrow. ARI colorbox has a resize function to create the thumbnail. 18. When copying images to insert on respective page, most images have a title, or description, that title or description needs to be the same/configured to show on that image in the ARI colorbox gallery, a function of ARI Colorbox. 19. Link top menu Photo Album to article page layout (andlsquo; portfolioandrsquo; page from demo), set up each section (9 show on demo) without link to an article page, but with their own heading, with one thumbnail/image showing, but when they click on that image, shadow box will appear, with previous and forward arrows, showing all images of that type with the previous and forward arrow. 20. Install andlsquo; perfect webandrsquo; (also need to install MooTools) pop up contact form fromandnbsp; andnbsp; http://www. perfect-web. pl/joomla-extensions/module-ajax-popup-contact-form< / a>andnbsp; andnbsp;, configure with about 15 fields, and make sure shows on all pages. 21. Install and configure JoomSEF (http://www. artio. net/joomla-extensions/joomsef), and make sure the entire website has SEF URLandrsquo; s. 22. Link two buttonsandnbsp; andnbsp; that when clicked a PDF would open/download. 23. Site must be W3C compliant for both CSS and XTHML 1.0 according to w3c. org. So, it must PASS both those tests, XHTML 1.0 at http://validator. w3. org / < / a> and CC at http://jigsaw. w3. org/css-validator / < / a>24. The site needs to load quickly, so page optimization techniques must be used and applied like image/text compression, gzip, remove white space form css, Joomla admin settings, install plugins, and so on to assure that pages (especially home page) do not take longer than 5.5 seconds to load using DSL. That speed test of max 5.5 seconds is using www. webpagetest. org< / a> as source for speed analysis. Using the settings DSL, IE 8 as the test standard. 25. Copy entire site, make sure joomla admin set up, install on subdomain in cpanel. 26. Need to show without problems or errors in IE 7,8, 9, Firefox, Chrome and Safari.
