I have never had an iPhone App developed before, so I am not sure of what questions I should be asking. Maybe you could help by telling me what I should be asking. What I do have is an app that I want " cloned " and branded for my company. http://iphone. verico. ca/calcs/I need you to outline: 1) the steps that would be involved, 2) how long it would take (in hours) and 3) the approximate cost for a completed, working app. Thanks.

Gentlemen - We have an ipad app that we want to build. It seems pretty straight forward in that it will be an Ixia (only) RSS feed aggregator. App requirements: - Must work on ipad (and iphone) - Must connect to the internet periodically to see if there are any updates to the feed. - When a new feed is available, the ipad is notified and the user will be prompted by a badge/alert to either view the new feed or close the alertPlease the example that we would like to emulate is Mashable. Looking for a person to develop a proof-of-concept app. The app will have 4 tab bar items. Tab 1 will link to a UIWebView. Tab 2 will have MapView and Tab 3 will have a Table View/with Navigation Controller. Both these tabs will get data from local XML file. Tab 4 will have a standard UIView. The CallOut on the MapView and the Cells on the TableView will display the same data from the XML and link to the same DetailView (a UIWebView). Sample Data attached.

Work on an interactive iPhone/iPad app which displays a 3D globe, and allows users to spin the globe, touch dots, and see information. This is not a clone of Google Earth, as there is only a limited zoom range. We will provide a data file with all the location dots, lat/long, and information to be displayed, we will also provide bitmap images of the earth to use with openGL. I 'll provide more details as the project unfolds. The first milestone on this project is a spinnable globe, that uses standard iPhone gestures to pinch zoom, and spin. The spinning should use arcball rotation, so the globe follows the user's drag: http://rainwarrior. thenoos. net/dragon/arcball. html The maximum zoom will have approx 500km fills the screen. Later milestones will include multiple layers in the bitmap to indicate night and day, adjusting when there are overlapping pins, and atmosphere effects. It would be nice if I can have this app created for Symbian, Blackberry and iPhone (potentially Android as well, but not sure yet). But I need to know if there are any cost synergies from doing them all at once. If each one is a separate effort altogether, and if each one is very expensive on its own, I might want to do only one of them for now. Below are the basic requirements that the app is expected to perform: - Consumer downloads app from app store- Creates username or links to his facebook account- This gives him the ability to publish his achievements in the app on his profile, and to invite his facebook friends to download the app as well- Consumer can browse through participating outlets in the app- When he goes to the participating outlet, he uses his GPS (or A-GPS if he's indoors - need to discuss the feasibility of A-GPS first) to confirm that he is actually at the store- Alternatively, the store can be given a barcode that the consumer can ask for. He then scans the barcode, which is sent to the server to confirm that he is in the store. - Once confirmation is received, the consumer's account is credited with a certain number of points- At the same time, the consumer can be sent a promotional message from that retailer, eg. 10% discount on a product in that store. - At some point in the future, the consumer can redeem his points from a set of options that he can browse through on his handset. Arabic language is also a nice-to-have, but not necessary if this is going to cost much more. If you can get back to me with approximate timelines, that would be great. If you feel that you have the necessary skills, but cannot do it within the budget, let me know how much you are willing to do it for. I will consider your offer based on whether or not I get other offers that can do it within budget.

We require a blackberry application to be developed for sales department. The application should give the users the option to call from the phone to a client without seeing his phone number, the number should not appear on the " call logs ". For example: the user dial the number 2005, the software connects to our database gets the phone number of the client number 2005 and dial to his number. VERY important that the end user woun´t see the phone number of the client. We have Access database with the clients list. Applicants must have experience in developing blackberry applications and should be able to demonstrate some applications they have developed.
