we need a software, that asks the user to choose a webcam (and read a file to pick the right webcam and parameters for automation later) - and then checks the webcam-stream for faces/pairs of eyes- and choose the domininat (biggest) face/eyes. - and offers the read values in easy to grab format (dll) - that offers parameters to adjust smoothing (if there were interruptions or jumps). we need a professional programmer, that has done similar stuff, and know exactly what he/shes doing. you have a long and indepth experience in programming and analysing motion/still pictures - or you have a good solution that you can customize for our purposes. the platform is windows. you communicate in good and bad times. you keep timelines and give us your valuable input for alternatives as well. please offer some samples of similar work, so we know you can.

The web site is for an e-commerce retail concept in form of a multi store 'market place '- it requires geo spatial searching and therefore familiarity with non mysql - we are using mongo, and python. We are building a simple an easy usenet download software, known as NNTP Software. We are developing this application here in the Netherlands with some Dutch students and friends. We are working on the project but need some extra hands. We work with Trac/skype/msn and need to work out some small and big bugs, also need to add some new features. In the future the programme needs a rewrite, so if you do good you can expect more...:) The project is complex now, so real C++ skills are needed. We need to build a desktop integration for Salesforce that will download attachments from Salesforce to the desktop or file system. The design is as follows. We have a few custom objects in Salesforce (Order__c, Order_Line_Items__c and Impressions__c). Order is connected to Order_Line_Items (OLI) as a one-to-many relationship. The OIL is connected to Impressions as a one-to-one relationship. Within the Impressions object is 2-3 attachments which one of them is an XML file and the other two are STL files (3D shapes) that is of course stored in the Attachments object. These files are about a half megabyte each. The Process. When the Order is released to a manufacturer (by changing owners), the manufacturer can click on a button to accept. The button changes the order status from " Submitted to MFG " to " Accepted by Manufacturer ". We use this as the event to download the files. There could be one, or many files that will be downloaded in a order. The manufacturer receives the files on their desktop/server the files in a folder which they can use for manufacturing through this app. Once the file has been received into the folder, the app needs to fire back to Salesforce that the file has been received so it is not downloaded every time and eat up transfer limits. What we are looking for is a desktop App. Possibly Adobe Air, that will store the manufacturer's credentials and query Salesforce objects (as mentioned). Using the briefcase does not seem to work as it does not download the files. We hacked something together that brought down only one record due to limitations to SOQL queries. But need a person to build the real thing. This needs to be done quick, by August 4th as we have a demo that will enable this project to receive the next round of funding for further enhancements. If we are happy with the work, we will have more work on this client and others.

The person should write me simple AppleScript that connects to the API for Atlassian JIRA, it should request to do tasks, then import those tasks in to Cultured Code. The second part is to check when tasks have been completed and update the status on JIRA. Is this something you are capable of, and would you be interested in doing a short project like this? What I need is a desktop application that will help me control our employers activities. We are a business consulting enterprise, have about 50 employees, using desktops and notebooks, and working in several diferent projects. What we need, right now, is an aplication that will, for each employee, keep track of several items: 1 - Server (windows server) logon and logout time; 2 - Files (specially file's paths) that are worked, and working time on each one. 3 - Activities worked. The item 3, above, may be done by a small pop-up that will prompt the user the activities done by him in the last time period (30min, for example, variable). In the attachment you will find an example and the code of the application for the item 3 above, that looks for the projects/activities in a XML file and saves these infos in another. The goal, now, is to evolve this and use SQL Server.

Development of an Adobe AIR application which detects incoming phone calls and offers information provided by an existing database according to the incoming phone number. Detailed description of the technical part: - Desktop-App should use Adobe AIR based on HTML+JavaScript, not Flex. - for Mac- and Linux-Clients we need direct Access on Asterisk-PBXs. (please suggest a XX you like to use) - Connection to the incoming call (using Asterisk/TAPI /...) has to be handled modular (using a plug-in-Method) to be flexible for future enhancements. For the first we need plug-ins to Asterisk and TAPI. - Also the connection to the database has to be modular (using a Plugin-Method) to be flexible for future enhancements. Hi, We are creating a small demo project that would take Access database data (just 1 table with 4-5 fields) and convert to KML to view in Google Earth. It seems like the best way is to use a Winforms or WPF to create the coordinates and the interface between Access and Google Earth. Preferably we want to show the Google Earth within Winforms or WPF. You are welcomed to suggest a different approach.
