We need a module which in a Flume (https://cwiki. apache. org/FLUME /) pipeline is able to operate as a Sink sending all data it receives to a specific host+port on a external system. andnbsp; andnbsp; The Flume Sink needs to Write a custom Sink for Flume which; andnbsp; andnbsp; - take a configuration parameter of username/passwordandnbsp; andnbsp; - at startup connects over https to a specific web service for andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; -- authenticationandnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; -- configuration parameters [ host, port + accesskey ] andnbsp; andnbsp; - connects to the specific host+port and sends the accesskey for authenticationandnbsp; andnbsp; - then stream all data received from the flume source on the connectionImplementation need to handle failure gracefully. Implementation need to include unit test for the module. I will provide the web service calls for authentication and obtaining the configuration parameters.
