Adapting Open Source, RoR crowdfunding platform - 1st Phase

We are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails developer who is comfortable doing backend and frontend work. Ideally you are familiar with open source software, as we will be using an open source platform, Catarse (https://github. com/danielweinmann/catarse) as our base for the site. You will also need to be familiar with payment gateways, specifically Paypal and their API. Experience with adaptive or parallel payments is desirable. See www. catarse. me< / a> for a live, functional version of the platform. We will be deploying at www. wethetrees. com< / a> - see our current production environment there. Note that the site we are creating is a crowdfunding portal for permaculture and environmentally-related projects. This is only Phase 1 of a 3 Phase development operation. The second phase involves a massive overhaul of the Catarse platform (new AI, lots of new functionalities). If we like working with you on Phase 1, then consider Phase 2 your next job! We want to: - change the design to fit our brand (we have a designer who is proficient in CSS) - replace the copy with our own (we will provide copy on a page-by-page basis) - include two additional pages (purely content, no additional functionality) - change some of the links and elements in the header and footer- use the Paypal API to create and insert a new adaptive/parallel payments gateway in place of the current payments system being used (this may require changing some of the related pages as well, to indicate that Paypal is being used) I believe that this will be a very simple and straightforward job. Rails 3 Developer - Multi Upload Necessary

I am looking to add bulk upload capability to my rails 3.1 application with uploadify. Apparently, rails has some very tricky configuration required to make this happen. I believe I am very close but running into session errors that are not making much sense. Single upload is working fine, and all files for uploadify (through paperclip) are installed. What I need is for a person who has solved this before to help me out with the benefit of their experience. Fixed price bounty even if it is a two minute solution. Screen share trough google+ (or skype) would probably be the quickest way to take a look without having to build the app.

Fix iTunes RSS feed from Ruby on Rails website

The website is already live and working but we need help for a small project: We have a partner organisation called schulengel. de. They work with schools who have their own charities that raise money for these schools. There is already a technical gateway with schulengel to share information in case schools from schulengel want to sign up for donare. de. We already receive all the registration information through thisandnbsp; andnbsp; gateway and once we get donations for these schools the amount will also be sent back to schulengel. deFor this project we would also like to integrate a andsbquo; Donate nowandrsquo; button on the schulengel. de website. Once a person clicks on that button it would need to be determined if the school is already registered with donare. de. If yes, they would have to go to the already existing donations page which would have to be slightly adapted with the schulengel logo and a small eye catcher that we would need to add. If the school is not yet registered we would need them to go to a register your school now page (does already exist). Requirements: - Experience with RubyOnRails (2.3. 8) projects based on MySQL using git (hub) - Experience with HAML and SASS- Sufficient knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS to modify and/or (re) use existing partials and pages- At least some knowledge about implementing APIs for webservices- Design skills are a plus

Set up EC2 micro instance for multiple users to use Ruby on Rails

I need a person to help me get an Amazon EC2 instance (Ubuntu 32 bit 10.04) set up so that a few friends of mine can ssh into it and practice their ruby on rails skills. andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; I used a bitnami image that already had ruby 1.93 and rails 3.2, but I am not sure what else. They are going through some rails tutorials and it would be very easy for them to ssh into this machine rather than me setting up each of their personal installs on their home computers. andnbsp; andnbsp;!! I also need a person to help us out now and then when I get stuck configuring it (like now). andnbsp; andnbsp; I enjoy RoR but I am a terrible sysadmin.
