Urgent work required over the weekend. A three hours plus interview is required to be transcribed into a Neatly formatted MS Word document. Accuracy is a necessity and we are looking at an economical solution.

Long-Term Transcriptionist/Perfectionist Needed (EXP. ONLY)

Seeking a NON-MEDICAL transcriptionist with experience transcribing meetings, conference calls, interviews, presentations, and so on. If you have only transcribed dictation, this will NOT be a suitable position for you because that requires a different skill set than overall transcription, and there's no time to train. NOTE: Can only afford $8 to 15 per audio hour (incl. oDesk fees, depending solely on transcription test results), so please only bid if comfortable with this. (We also offer bonuses for more challenging jobs, in addition to the base audio hour rate.) MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: 1. Comfortable with TECHNOLOGY (their computer, intermediate to advanced MS Word features, signing up for online services, backup programs, and so on.); 2. Can start RIGHT AWAY (within 1-3 days of hire after reviewing the style guidelines) --a FAST learner; 3. Has done NON-medical transcription before; 4. Can be online to accept/deny assignments on weekdays between hours of 10AM-10PM ET (GMT-05); (Note, you do NOT have to work/transcribe during those times, but you DO need to be contactable for assignments during those hours. this is too difficult to assign to and answer job-related questions from contractors who are only available at 3AM.;) 5. Has EXCEPTIONAL, FLAWLESS ENGLISH with an expansive vocabulary. 6. Uses proper capitalization, advanced punctuation mechanics, and so on. 7. Can build up to transcribing AT LEAST 2 audio hours per week (that you have edited and proofed on your own). ----------WHEN YOU APPLY, PLEASE INCLUDE: 1. Specific details of your experience (what specialties? types of audio transcribed?); 2. A transcription sample; 3. Number of audio hours you can accept per week. Applicants sending cover letters with only one or two ill-formatted sentences in all lowercase with no punctuation will, of course, be denied. Also, please do not attach resumes, but attach a sample as requested. I have several 15 minute phone conversations to be transcribed. There is more than one available positions available. Must have prior transcription experience. Minimum typing speed is 50 wpm. Fixed rate is $5.00 for each 15 minute file. Turnaround time must be as quick (and accurately) as possible.

Inventory transcription

We need inventory transcriptionists to be able to handle between 2 and 5 reports per day. Property inventory and checking process knowledge (UK) is an advantage. The workload at high season is up to 300 minutes per day of transcription. Accuracy: 99% and above. Turnaround Time: I need all reports back on our system by 7 AM UK time. Please do not bid if you can not guarantee the above transcript quality and turnaround. I will ask you to do a few test runs on old files to ensure that the template works and you are comfortable using the templates. I am looking for a person who has an GOOD command of English language and writing. I don't want the transcripts to be written word for word, but in GOOD Grammar and almost article like quality. Looking for Competitive Hourly Rates, and there's plenty of work for the qualified person. Please let me know if you can create articles from segments of the interview as well. This requires good judgement and excellent English skills.
