we have a website with 6 pages in two versions: a) a flash-version, where every html contains a flashb) a html-version with plain html. we need them merged, so people with flash-able-browsers can see the flash-version of the page and people without flash can see the html-page. by now, the non-flash-version was without background-pictures. you add code for every html-page to add a background-picture, that automatically blends over every 5s - the best solution would be to write the code once, and apply it to every page - and every page uses their own image-directory - that would be easy for you and easy for maintenance also. we have the pictures. the layout remains the same. the flash can be used to lookup the pictures also. you only apply, if you are absolutely confident about the job, did this many times before, are able to communicate in good and in bad times. be well, david.

Help Required! Can't access website back end. Administrator Missing. We have an unusual situation. We subscribe to a website that is used to manage our business. The website contains all our business information, our clients, previous bookings and so on. The website/system is operated by a sole individual. He has gone missing and no one is able to locate him. After six months of trying to find him we have given up. We can still log into the website, and it is still operational, but we are not able to retireve our data to transefer it to another system. We do not know how long the website will remain functional so we need help before it closes down. We need a person who is able to access the admin areas of the website, locate our data and provide this to us. We Do not know if this is possible but if you can help and have the required skills please let me know.

I have a WordPress Blog with " Error 500 " on it. I would like to be able to see how you work on it (that you teach me how to do it myself) don't worry once that is done there will be plenty of other things to do. I just want to understand the ERROR and I want to have some help in the programming of my Blog. I don't know how long it will take - that's why I would like to hire a person by the hour. I intend to do much more in the future over the internet - if it works fine - I have a few friends who would like me to take care of their Wordpress Blog. Thank You Gengis

My company is a full service web development firm that utilizes Magento for ecommerce and Wordpress for CMS. I would like a person with experience in developing sites using both these programs. I am currently looking to stop using a couple different developers and just use one who has expertise in both Magento and WordPress and PHP as a whole. I do NOT test sites. I am looking for a new developer because the ones I work with now do a horrific job of testing their work and it takes me weeks to find the bugs and get them to change them. My company is consistent with work and I expect results and professionalism. If I get that then you will get consistent work. Please show samples of both Wordpress and Magento work. Also, I will not except being anything less than professionalism and honesty. Your word must be important to you. If you say you can and will do something than I will expect it. If it doesn't happen than I do not need you working for me.

This is the requirement from the client for the new project. I am considering magento for the project but not sure it can handle this: We list the price of almost all of our equipment on the specification page of every listing. Due tothe fluctuation of international currencies, it is usually desirable to quote the price of equipmentin the currency of the seller. However, it is inconvenient to have to convert foreign currenciesto ones own currency every time you visit a web page. Therefore we want to have a currencyconverter on every Specifications Page similar to the one found on www. Apolloduck. com. Tosee an example go to their front page, and click on any of the listings under Latest boats forsale worldwide that has a price next to it. Then find the price near the bottom of the page. Apollo Duck provides a drop down list for selection of the conversion currency, but they assumethat the user would know the abbreviation for each currency. On our web site we want the fullname of the currency shown in parentheses. For example, KRW (South Korea Won), EUR (European Union Euro), USD (United States Dollar). The default currency conversion shouldatabasee USD (United States Dollar). Typing the letters of the code should jump you to the propercode on the list. We will provide a list of currency codes. By the way, the Apollo Duck Siteincorrectly equates KRW to Kuwait Dinar. KRW is Korean Won, and the correct abbreviation forKuwait Dinar is KWD. On the new site, the currency conversion feature would be applied only to the SpecificationPages and is not required on the List Pages. --------So they would need to be able to specify the currency on a product level basis and then there would be a conversion tool as they show in the example of apolloduck. com. Is this a modification you could make to magento?
