We need an experienced Linux administrator familiar with VPN configuration on CentOS. Must be comfortable with CLI configuration over SSH. We are connecting a CentOS Linux box to a network via VPN. The box needs to be configured via CLI, using ipsec-tools (setkey, racoon, and so on.) by an experienced Linux administrator who can see at-a-glance what state our system is in and what needs to be done to establish a rock-solid connection. Our working documentation has been http://www. centos. org/docs/5 / html/Deployment_Guide-en-US/ch-vpn. html and a file from our VPN provider with suggested racoon settings. You will need to log in to our server, look at the environment, and configure it with notes to our team showing what works and how it was established. Further information provided upon interview. It should also be noted that the server is a dedicated server with a hosting company running WHM/Cpanel. It is also a live server running websites in production, and so, any changes that will potentially bring down the server or require a reboot should be done outside of business hours. Candidate must be comfortable using Google Talk to communicate.

We are opening up an offshore web and software development center in Delhi and need some help in networking and setting up the office. We need a person in the Delhi region for a contract who can do the following- Recommend us the hardware required to setup a web development centre offering web and E-commerce solutions using LAMP development technologies. - Install and deploy all the required software and hardware installation on the server as well as the desktop machines - Add virtualization software VMware to separate the hardware int o multiple machines for development and UAT and Install source safe called JIT- We would be using Drupal and Joomla so you should have experience with that as well. - monitoring/profiling and systems managementPLEASE RECOMMEND THE HARDWARE WE WOULD REQUIRE TO GET THIS SETUP DONE. Initially we will have only 4- 5 employees but we are planning to expand to about 15 -20 employees by this year end. Initially this will be a part time position or a contract position. If you do a great job, you can be hired permanently. We need a person in the 2nd week of August to come and setup the server and related connectivity. We are looking for a person with at least 8-10 years of experience. Prior experience of setting up and installation of similar systems is a definitive plus. Please attach your resume as well. I was not sure how much to quote so please consider my quote as a ballpark figure. This is only for the initial setup. Feel free to quote whatever you think will be appropriate for your services. In our office we use a Cisco router, which connects about 20 pcs to the network. The network has the following problem: All windows machine are slow on the network, and usually time out when downloading any file more than 2-3MB. All Linux/Mac machines have absolutely no problem downloading any file size - 1mb- 1GB. For those who have solutions or can provide solutions, $100 will be rewarded immediately (no matter one hour or one day)

Installing a Cisco 2600 router with DSL atm Wic card and need to add a Cisco Voice card that will allow the user to connect a cordless phone. Need Cisco expert assistance in selecting the correct vic-2fxs card and NM-Card that will work in a Cisco 2600. Hardware can be selected from the pre-owned market such as eBay or other reliable sources. Will need assistance in configuring the device to connect to my clients current sip provider and then deliver dial-tone to a cordless handset via the RJ-11 port. The only configuration of the config is for the SIP/VOICE portion of the vic-2fxs. We have succesfully deployed the Cisco2600 with DSL and Bonded DSL without issue.
