Multi Shipping Addresses for Zencart 1.5

ObjectiveA Zen Cart module compatible with Zen Cart v1.5 that allows customers to assign products from their orders to multiple shipping addresses from their address book during the checkout process. Features similar or identical to the Order Steps add-on to help provide visual cues to the shopper during the checkout process are desireable (http://www. zen-cart. com/index. php? main_page=product_contrib_infoandproducts_id=408). If a customer orders more than one item they will have the ability to send these items to different shipping addresses. They may search for and select an existing entry in their address book or add a new addressbook entry all from the shipping step of the checkout process. It is preferable that the shopper not have to navigate away from the shopping cart during the address selection/creation process. If the store offers multiple shipping options, the customer will also be able to select the shipping method for each address that will receive a shipment. The module needs to calculate the shipping for each package accordingly. If one or more of the shipping addresses matched the web stores state then sales tax would need to be calculated for each matched address. Customers can enter a gift message for each shipping address selected. This will all be reflected in the order email. For example: John Smith orders 100 of Widget A and 50 of Widget B. John wants to ship 1 Widget A to 100 different addresses. He will include a gift message and will choose a shipping method for each address. 56 of the addresses are in the same state as the webstore. For Widget B, he wants to ship 25 of Widget B to one address and 25 to a different address. He will not include a gift message for the first 25 widgets, and he will choose a different shipping method for each address. Neither address is in the same state as the webstore. The point is that the customer can chose the quantity, address to ship to, shipping method, and gift message for products in their cart.
