facebook app for object recovery using QR codes and NFC tags
Basically, the idea is that an nfc or QR code enabled phone touches a tag or scans a code which has been previously attached to an object, say a lost set of keys. The owner of the keys has previously coded and registered the tag - which isstored on a server - perhaps cloud based - connected to and interfacingwith the facebook app (i do not quite understand what the options are toget the back end to work, and would welcome your input). the person whofinds the car keys, on touching the tag to his phone, launches the app, uploads, as discussed and outlined previously, the location and the personwho lost the keys gets an automatic facebook message alerting him to thefact that the keys have been found and their whereabouts. clearly bothloser and finder would need to have the facebook app. The app itself, should allow the owner of the keys, on registering themwith the database, to attach a facebook credit value - say finder's fee - apoint based system - for example, the set of keys might be worth 1000points, which on return to the owner would be transferred to the finder ofthe keys. these points would be tallied redeemable and convertible. also, amessage should go out to all people who have downloaded the app each timeand object is found and returned. Mobile Wordpress Plugin Needed
I seen a site offering a plugin the other day and I think it would be awesome to have one just like it but with a twist...
