ALL INFO IS IN HERE: I need help in modifying an old program from the early 1990's. andnbsp; andnbsp; It is a custom built app, like a very simple Quickbooks. The file names/extensions are in the URL below, so if these files look familiar to you, and you can edit them, please let me know as soon as possible. The fixes are very simple and should be quick. You need to be an EXPERT in all versions of VB since the 1990's to current day. andnbsp; andnbsp; I was not the original developer nor is he available, so it is ALL up to you to fix it and make it work 100%. andnbsp; andnbsp; There will be no partial payments for " trials or attempts. " I was told that you may need expertise in CRYSTAL REPORTS in order to complete this job, but since this program has been upgraded to Windows 7 version, maybe that is not relevant. andnbsp; andnbsp; Check and see. Must keep the WHOLE program intact and same format, with the one. exe install file. Must be able to complete within 1 week of the start of the job upon our agreement. The final fee will include a 100% operating software with no bugs under any usage parameters, and will also include up to 2 minor adjustment/edits to the final version. andnbsp; andnbsp; These adjustments will not cause major re-programming or changes to the fundamental code. andnbsp; andnbsp; These adjustments may include, but not limited to, text/graphical placement/fonts/sizes, add/subtract up to 3 additional fields in the database, adjustments in the aesthetics of the final print preview/report/printout, and more. If you have ANY questions on the above, please settle this with us before you start the project. andnbsp; andnbsp; If you do not clear up your intentions before the start, please understand you cannot get paid until the software is deemed by us to be completed 100% to our satisfaction. andnbsp; andnbsp; In your defense, we will pay extra for any major re-programming, which may include changing to a different style/brand database, adding more than 5-10 features not in the original program, and so on.... Please keep in mind that you will be given specific data to test the program under Win 7 32 and 64bit with all instructions included. andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; You will be asked to ENSURE the program is 100% operational for these data and processes BEFORE sending us the final install file. _______________________________________THE EDIT: 1. As of right now, the program seems to be working in Windows 7 - 64bit... but the problem is, it will only add one line to the final print invoice. andnbsp; andnbsp; that is to say, when you input one billing item/product, then save, and then print, its 100% ok. andnbsp; andnbsp; Then in another invoice, if you add 2-3 products/line items, then save, and print, the grand total is ok, but in the printed invoice, the 2nd/3rd items do not show in the print. andnbsp; andnbsp; I assume this is a simple problem where there was just a small error in the code. 2. Ride-Away is a leading Mobility Equipment Dealer on the East Coast in the USA. We provide the highest quality of service and sell vehicles and custom modifications of vehicles to people with disabilities. We are implementing a customized version of Chevin Fleetwave, a SQL Server database system using Crystal Reports for reporting, which will be our Customer Relationship Management and Dealer Management System. Part of the implementation will also involve integration with Sage MAS200, our accounting software. We require a Business Information Systems Specialist to work with the project manager, our webmaster, our network administrator, and various department managers to develop business intelligence reports that help us manage our efficiency and profitability. Specific responsibilities include: i. Work with project manager to understand business processes and key performance metrics that need to be enhanced and reported upon. ii. Develop Crystal Reports and write SQL Queries to provide information to Managers and Executives about key performance metrics. iii. Work with accounting department to generate automated PandL statements. iv. Work with marketing team to develop SQL queries that automate CRM processes. v. Work with Chevin implementation team to develop SQL queries and Crystal Reports that create effective dashboards for General Managers, Service Managers, Sales Personnel, and Administrative Personnel. Position Requirements: 1. Proficiency in SQL server languages. 2. Expertise in development of Crystal Reports, including usage of OLAP cubes and working with OdatabaseC connections. 3. Knowledge of accounting, automotive industry, and retail business preferred. 4. English proficiency required. This position is for a short-term implementation project, designed to be completed by July 1, however successful contractors can expect ongoing work on this project.
