SCOPE: This is an easy, steady project for a person with PR, marcom, technical writing, or copywriting experience on the business side of IT. (We provide business development training for small IT companies.) Each week, youandrsquo; ll be writing one engaging, search-optimized news release that re-purposes a selected, content-rich, thought-leadership blog post. Your proposal should be based on 13 weeks (planning out 90 days at a time). The blog posts cover sales-cycle issues (marketing, sales, repeat business, and startup/launch), as well as trade shows, trade groups, certifications, partner programs, franchises, and distributors. Each news release should be 300-500 words. Use basic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to appropriately optimize the releases, in key strategic places, without overdoing it. We expect the releases to be free of andldquo; gobbledygook. andrdquo; Although the releases need to be good enough in case a journalist accidentally stumbles across one, these releases are being used primarily for online PR and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)-purposes... not for pitching major media. While you will be provided with our related backgrounder/style guide, example news release URLs, and approximately 50 published blog post Titles/URLs to select from, youandrsquo; ll be expected to submit your own proposed news release ideas for approval each month in advance. Super simple project, with VERY strong potential for repeat engagement and expansion. You must be a native English speaker and have AT LEAST 5 successfully completed news release writing projects on your profile, preferably IT-related. Releases must be written in American English. TIMELINE: 1st four proposed news release topics due by Friday, February 17th. Weekly news release deadline is Wednesdays by 5pm Eastern, starting February 22nd. See attached. pdf for details. DELIVERABLES: To keep things simple, just write in Microsoft Word. Along with your bid, please include (1) what news release experience you have (2) what IT-related experience you have (3) your knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for PR (4) related sample news releases from your portfolioWe have a strong positive track record of great provider reviews. Read our project feedatabaseack. Seriously, read it. We are a great client to work with. So we expect your bid and professionalism to take this into account. Only complete bids can be considered.
