I am looking for a person to professionally prepare my 2010 and 2011 US Federal return. andnbsp; andnbsp; You must have a valid US PTIN for tax years 2010 and 2011. Data entry is EASY -- Using TaxAct, I have already prepared, filed, and paid the 2010 return. andnbsp; andnbsp; I am just about done doing my 2011 data entry. andnbsp; andnbsp; I will email you my TaxAct file forandnbsp; andnbsp; 2010, and 2011. andnbsp; andnbsp; It contains the regular schedules for 1040. andnbsp; andnbsp; Both my wife and I have our own businesses, so there are schedules for that. andnbsp; andnbsp; If you chose to help me, you will * accept by email TaxAct files for 2010 and 2011andnbsp; andnbsp; -- or we can just do PDF's if you can review and sign them that way* pull the data into your tax prep system (or keep in TaxAct if that is what you use), * briefly scan the numbers for consistency (I think the software gets it right), * sign and date both returns, with your PTIN, -- date Feb 1,2012 (for tax year 2011), -- date Feb 15,2011 (for the 2010 return) * scan them, and email them back to me. andnbsp; andnbsp; I would guess this would take about 1-2 hours of time. Why bother? I need " professionally prepared tax returns " for a background check my potential new employer is running. andnbsp; andnbsp; (I am trying to switch from trading full time to a new job). andnbsp; andnbsp; They want to confirm my SelfEmployed status. andnbsp; andnbsp; Since I am a self-emp trader, I need and have very little business documenation -- no license needed, no databaseA needed, no insurance needed, and so on. andnbsp; andnbsp; I hired a professional accountant for 2002 and 2003, but have since done it myself with TaxAct. andnbsp; andnbsp; Do you have a valid PTIN you can use for both the 2010 and 2011 returns? Will you be able to sign them with dates Feb 3,2012 (for 2011), and Feb 15,2011 (for the 2010 return)? If I send the 2 files by 8pm Monday 2/6 NY time, can you finish this work by Wednesdayandnbsp; andnbsp; night? Do you also have a valid PTIN for 2009 if I need to redo that one as well? You need to be experienced in dealing with technically advanced environments, and its essential that you pay HIGH attention to details. I cannot tolerate mistakes. Also, i am unexperienced with bookkeeping, so i expect you to come and get the chaos right. I need to have complete reporting and tracking system of all my costs, payments, bank statements and so on.
